State University of Novi Pazar

The State University of Novi Pazar  was founded by the Government of  Serbia, 26 October 2006 with the aim to contribute to regional development, higher productivity of young scientists and experts, timely and appropriate selection of the necessary profession and the establishment of scientific-based priorities for regional development. The University of Novi Pazar is the only integrated and the first officially accredited university in Serbia, in accordance with the requirements of the Bologna Declaration. The State University of Novi Pazar  operates through the six Departments:  Law and Economics, Philosophy and Philology, Mathematics Informatics and Physics, Biochemical and Medical sciences, Technical Sciences and Technology and Fine Arts. The Departments are responsible for the process of education and scientific research. For the time being, fourteen study programs are in function with more than 3000 students, 350 teaching staff and 75 administrative staff.
