National Council of Higher Education

The National Council of Higher Education  has a leading role in the higher education in Serbia as a professional organization representing the academic community. The National Council of Higher Education  is the highest institution in the Republic of Serbia which, according to the Law on Higher Education, responsible for ensuring the development and improvement of the quality of higher education. The National Council of Higher Education  determines scientific, artistic and vocational areas within fields referred to in Article 27 of the Law on Higher Education, based on the proposal of the University Conference of Serbia (UCS) and the Conference of high school principals.
