University of Belgrade(Grant Holder)

The University of Belgrade is the oldest and the largest university in Serbia. With over 89.000 students and 5.000 teachers and associates it consists of 31 schools and 11 research institutes which functions as independent entities. The University of Belgrade provides training in traditional and some new unique disciplines. Its schools are divided into four groups, according to the teaching disciplines: sciences and mathematics, technology and engineering sciences, medical sciences, social sciences and humanities. There are several student organization working at the University of Belgrade, although the Student Parliament at the university level was established only three year ago. The University of Belgrade has a great experience in cooperation with international organizations focusing on higher education. Having signed the Bologna Declaration, the University of Belgrade has shown its commitment to joining European Higher Education Area by the end of the first decade of 21st century.
